Most donors describe it as a quick pinch — similar to a routine blood draw at the doctor's office. The needle is very thin, and our phlebotomists are experienced at making the process as comfortable as possible. The entire donation takes only about 8–10 minutes.

Whole blood donors can give every 56 days (about 8 weeks), up to 6 times per year. Platelet donors can give more frequently — approximately once a week, up to 24 times a year. Our staff will help you determine the right donation schedule for you.

Absolutely. Every needle and supply is sterile and used only once. Our facility follows strict safety protocols, and your health is screened before every donation. The body replaces the donated blood volume within 24 hours, and red blood cells regenerate within a few weeks.

If your tattoo or piercing was done in a state-regulated facility, you may be eligible to donate immediately. If it was done elsewhere, you may need to wait 3 months. Our screening process will determine your eligibility on the day of donation.

Bring a valid photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport), your Social Security card (for the donor registration form), and a list of any medications you're currently taking. Arrive 10 minutes early to complete registration.
